Be more self confident

“As I have said, the first thing is, to be honest with yourself. You can never have an impact on society if you have not changed yourself. Great peacemakers are all people of integrity, of honesty, but humility.” Nelson Mandela

       Honor your commitments with integrity.

Confidence in one's value as a human being is a precious psychological resource and generally a highly positive factor in life; it is correlated with achievement, good relationships, and satisfaction. Possessing little self-regard can lead people to become depressed, fall short of their potential, or tolerate abusive relationships and situations.

Have self-integrity with these traits

Honesty

Honesty is not just about telling the truth. It's about being real with yourself and others about who you are, what you want, and what you need to live your most authentic life. Honesty promotes openness, empowers us, and enables us to develop consistency in how we present the facts.

Goodness

When a child learns that goodness is not only a virtue but a practice, they will find ways to create good things and make life better for themselves and everyone else in their lives. Goodness, morality, virtue refer to qualities of character or conduct that entitle the possessor to approval and esteem. Goodness is the simple word for the general quality recognized in character or conduct: Many could tell of her goodness and kindness.

Humility

Humility is the key to success A healthy humility is beneficial for self-improvement and may help a person to be receptive to other opportunities. ... By combining humility with motivation, a person can develop the ability to overcome obstacles without letting failures knock one out of balance.

Authenticity

Personal authenticity is the daily expression of your core beliefs and personality. To be authentic, you need to accept yourself for who you are, and treat others with respect. Authentic people display a consistent set of values and don't change their behavior from one conversation to the next.

Trustworthy

trustworthy person will use roughly the same behavior and language in any situation. They have the self-control to maintain the character and follow through on what they say they'll do, even when they are tempted to walk it back. They won't wear different masks or pretend they're someone they're not just to impress.

Integrity

Integrity is the quality of having strong ethical or moral principles and following them at all times, no matter who's watching. A person with integrity acts with honesty, honor, and truthfulness. Integrity is about being honest, fair, with a strong sense of what's right and wrong. ... Integrity of heart, therefore, is something that God is searching for in His people. God is pleased when we walk with integrity

The Hero Instinct

The hero instinct in a man essentially boils down to the fact that men need to feel like they are needed, especially by women they are attracted to. They need to feel like they are constantly saving the day or rescuing their damsel in distress. If they don’t, they might feel less masculine, less themselves, or just undervalued.

They value your time

Valuing my time means I'm grateful and appreciative of all the experiences in my life. It means doing what I want by design, not by default. That's what valuing my time means to me. ... My point is that you need to first decide what your ideal life looks like to you before you can place any value on your time.

Adaptability

Adaptability is a soft skill that means being able to rapidly learn new skills and behaviors in response to changing circumstances. Employers usually look for adaptability when hiring new staff and the skill is often included in job descriptions because of its importance for growth within a role.

Self-esteem refers to a person’s overall sense of his or her value or worth. It can be considered a sort of measure of how much a person “values, approves of, appreciates, prizes, or likes him or herself” self-esteem is quite simply one’s attitude toward oneself. Self-esteem is not self-concept, although self-esteem may be a part of self-concept. Self-concept is the perception that we have of ourselves, our answer when we ask ourselves the question “Who am I?” It is knowing about one’s own tendencies, thoughts, preferences and habits, hobbies, skills, and areas of weakness.

The high road is always respected. Honesty and integrity are always rewarded.

— Scott Hamilton

When you are able to maintain your own highest standards of integrity – regardless of what others may do – you are destined for greatness.

 Napoleon Hill

Integrity without knowledge is weak and useless, and knowledge without integrity is dangerous and dreadful.

— Samuel Johnson

In looking for people to hire, look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence and energy. And if they don’t have the first, the other two will kill you.

— Warren Buffett
